Paris Style in Chinatown
Outfit Details: Lace Floral Dress (also here, here, here & here) | Black Bootie | Fedora | Leather Biker Jacket & Similar: here| Mini City Bag & Similar: here
During my visit to San Francisco, I managed to squeeze a quick walk around Chinatown during the early morning hours when barely anyone was out and about. The hustle and bustle of the day hadn’t yet started. This peace and quiet gave me the chance to really appreciate the neighborhood, as it’s truly unique. Chinatown stands out among the skyscrapers of the downtown area.
I always try to let a place inspire my style. In anticipation of my trip to Chinatown, I was in the mood to connect with my love for international travel. I was definitely channeling my inner French girl with my outfit that day. I studied abroad in France for two years, so Paris style really takes me home! Paris style is chic no matter where you go, and I was happy to bring it to Chinatown.
I paired this Joie boho dress with an edgy leather jacket. I wore this jacket when I visited SoHo in New York a few weeks ago, too. It’s fun to pair leather with a bohemian look, and a leather jack is a simple way to layer for fall. To me, Paris style is all about attitude. A little edge, a little lace and a lot of neutrals create that perfect spunky Paris style, and these black booties tie it all together for the complete French girl formula.
